Join us for a Free Safety Training.

Topic Offered:

Reducing Workplace Stress and Violence

Numerous studies show that conditions at the workplace are a major source of stress for American adults and that it has escalated progressively over the past few decades. Increased levels of job stress contribute to billions of dollars in loss of productivity and increased medical cost for work related injuries. Work stress also contributes to a host of physical and mental disorders including increased rates of heart attack, hypertension, depression, anxiety, violence and suicide. Students will learn work organization interventions to promote safe and healthy working conditions and will be able to identify risk factors and behaviors which contribute to work related stress and violence.

This training will be presented via ZOOM meeting. Please register below and you will receive an additional email with the meeting link information the day before the training.

*This Training counts as 1 class towards the UMA/WCF Mutual Insurance 5% Discount Requirement.
